Dahi Papad Ki Sabzi is a Traditional Rajasthani Recipe.
The main two ingredients of this recipe are as mentioned in name is Dahi (Yogurt) and Papad. It does not require any heavy preparations as these ingredients are easily available at our home and does not require any cutting and chopping.
It can be made anytime if you don’t have any vegetables at home. It is very easy to make with easily available ingredients and less equipments.
Equipments Used –
- Whisker – to whisk yogurt(Arrison Whisk Stainless Steel Whisker/ Beater/ Egg Whisk/ Balloon Whisk (extra strong))
Serving – 4 Prep Time – 5 Mins. Cook Time – 10 Mins
- Sour Yogurt – 1 ½ Cups
- Oil – 1 Tbsp.
- Hing (Asafoetida) – Pinch (Ramdev Strong Hing Pwd. 100 GM)
- Cumin Seeds – 2 Tsp. (Urban Platter Whole Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 900g)
- Dry Red Chilli, Whole – 3 Nos. (Organic Red Chilli Whole 100 g)
- Salt – To Taste
- Red Chilli Powder – To Taste (Catch Red Chilli Powder, 500g)
- Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp. (Ramdev Turmeric Powder – 500 g)
- Coriander Powder – 1 ½ Tsp. (Catch Spices Coriander Powder 500gms)
- Roasted Moong Papad – 6 Nos. (Spice Platter Special Saji Moong Papad (Medium Spicy, 400g))
- Whisk yogurt with the help of water and prepare thin batter.
- Heat oil in a pan and add asafoetida and cumin seeds in it.
- When cumin seeds crackle, add dry red chillies and cook for 1 min.
- Add yogurt batter and stir continuously till it comes to a boil.
- Now add all spices – salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well.
- If the yogurt mixture is thick then add water and cook well.
- Switch off the flame and add small pieces of papad in the yogurt mixture and mix well.
