My today’s recipe is a fusion recipe i.e. Burger Bun Open Pizza. Fusion is a combination of different cuisine. Actually I was bit confused what to make last night between pizza and burger, so decided to combine the elements of both and prepared a fusion dish. This is very innovative dish which you can serve to your kids and it’s very healthy also as it includes fresh veggies. Your kids will surely enjoy it.

Prep Time – 15 Mins             Cook Time – 10 Mins             Total Time – 25 Mins            Servings – 4

Ingredients –

  1. Finely Chopped Green Bell Pepper – 1 Cup (Yellow and Red Bell Pepper can also be taken)
  2. Finely Chopped Tomato – 2 Cups
  3. Finely Chopped Onion – 1 Cup
  4. Chilli Flakes – ½ Tbsp. (Keya Chilli Flakes, 40g)
  5. Oregano – ½ Tbsp. (Keya Oregano, 9g)
  6. Salt to Taste
  7. Pizza Sauce (Funfoods Pasta and Pizza Sauce, 325g)
  8. Cheese Cubes
  9. Burger Bun

Method –

  1. Mix capsicum, tomato and onion in a bowl.
  2. Add chilli flakes, oregano and salt.
  3. Mix them well with vegetables.
  4. Cut burger bun into halves
  5. Toast both halves from both sides with oil.
  6. Apply pizza sauce on inner side of burger bun
  7. Spread vegetable mixture on pizza sauce
  8. Grate cheese on burger bun
  9. Cut Burger Bun Open Pizza into half and serve with Tomato Ketchup.

In my previous blog (MAIDE KE MASALA KAJU) I have shared with you all how I celebrate Diwali which included drawing of rangoli outside my house. So today in this blog I am sharing some pictures of the rangoli also which my sister and I have made for this Diwali. We enjoyed a lot while making rangoli. We both sisters actually wait for this auspicious festival to come because we get a chance to make rangoli and fill beautiful colors in it. We have a great time making rangoli. This will be our 7th year when we are making rangoli together.

So coming to today’s recipe i.e. Maide ke Biscuits, it is also very nice snack item which you can serve before your guests on this Diwali. It is very easy recipe which can be prepared with few ingredients only and i.e. too easily available at our home. So let’s start –

As Diwali is near so I thought that I should share some Snack recipes with you. Diwali is my favorite festivals because during this festival I get chance to cook variety of snacks and sweets, decorate home with beautiful lights and Clay Diyas, draw rangoli outside house, doing pooja and visiting our near and dear ones to celebrate this auspicious festival.

Today I will be sharing very simple snack recipe i.e. MAIDE KE MASALA KAJU. The main ingredients of this recipe are All Purpose Flour i.e. Maida (as name suggest), good amount of oil (as it will give crunch to Kaju) and Curd (as it will help dough to rise).

Ingredients –

For Dough

  1. All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 1 Kg
  2. Oil – ¾ Cup
  3. Curd – ½ Cup
  4. Salt – 3 Tbsp.
  5. Water – as much needed to knead a tight dough

Dry Masala

  1. Dry Mango Powder – 2 Tbsp.
  2. Roasted Cumin Powder – 2 Tbsp.
  3. Mint Powder – 1 Tbsp.
  4. Salt – 1 Tbsp.
  5. Red Chilli Powder – 2 Tbsp.
