Brownie in Mug | New Year Special – Recipe No. 67

First of all I want to wish you all a Very Happy New Year in advance and my today’s recipe is a treat for you all from my side. Please Enjoy!

Chocolate is my love . So today I am sharing with you all recipe of Chocolate Brownie. I will bake this brownie in mug. It is very easy and quick process. It requires only 5 minutes which consist of 3 minutes of preparation and 2 minutes of baking. I love brownies but to get eggless brownie in market is little hard so decided to bake at home. It was my first attempt to make brownie at home. It was a great experience. I enjoyed a lot. All my family members liked it a lot.

Serving – 1

Ingredients – 

  1. Flour – 3 Tbsp.
  2. Cocoa Powder – 1 ½ Tbsp.
  3. Baking Powder – 1/8 Tsp.
  4. Baking Soda – Pinch
  5. Condensed Milk – 4 Tbsp.
  6. Melted Butter – 2 Tbsp.
  7. Milk – 5-6 Tbsp. or as required to make a smooth batter with no lumps
  8. Chocolate Chunks


Method –

  1. Take flour in a mug and add cocoa powder.
  2. Add baking powder and baking soda and mix all dry ingredients properly.
  3. Add condensed milk, melted butter and milk.
  4. Mix all wet ingredients with dry ingredients so as to make smooth batter without any lumps.
  5. Add in some chocolate chunks.
  6. Microwave it for 1 min. Insert toothpick in it and if toothpick comes out clean that means brownie is ready and if not then bake it for 20-30 secs more.
  7. Garnish brownie with some chocolate pieces.

Dahi Ke Kebabs | Curd Cutlets – Recipe No. 66

Today I am sharing with you all a recipe of creamy and soft Dahi ke Kebabs. It is basically a North Indian recipe. It is very easy and yummy recipe which requires a mixture of hung curd, some veggies and spices. Rice flour is used as a binding agent and makes kebab crispy. I have made healthy version of it by shallow frying it. It can be best served as an appetizer with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

Step – by – Step Tutorial of Dahi ke Kebab


Serving – 12-15 Kebabs

Ingredients –

  1. Hung Curd – 2 Cups
  2. Finely Chopped Capsicum – ¼ Cup
  3. Finely Chopped Cabbage – ¼ Cup
  4. Chaat Masala – 1 Tsp.
  5. Black Pepper Powder – ½ Tbsp.
  6. Salt to Taste
  7. Rice flour – 4 Tbsp.
  8. Breadcrumbs for Coating
  9. Oil for frying


Method –

  1. Take hung curd in a mixing bowl
  2. Add in finely chopped capsicum and cabbage
  3. Add in salt, chaat masala and black pepper powder.
  4. Add in rice flour and mix all ingredients properly
  5. Make kebabs from dahi mixture (shape and size of kebabs depends on you)
  6. Coat all kebabs with bread crumbs and keep them in a fridge for 15-20 mins.
  7. Now shallow fry all kebabs till both sides turn brown in color.
  8. Serve Dahi ke Kebabs with tomato ketchup and some cabbage salad.


Notes –

  1. Vegetables like onion, carrot, red and yellow bell peppers, beans can also be added.
  2. Spices can be adjusted according to your taste.
  3. Instead rice flour, gram flour can also be added.
  4. You can deep fry or shallow fry kebabs according to your choice.
  5. If the mixture sticks to your hand then add more rice flour.
  6. Apply oil on hands while making kebabs as it will not stick on hands.

Palak Pakora Chaat | New Variety of Chaat – Recipe No. 65

Spinach is a winter leafy vegetable full of vitamins and minerals so today I am sharing a recipe of new variety of chaat i.e. Palak Pakora Chaat. It is very easy and delicious recipe but not too healthy as fried pakoras are involved in this dish. In front of this yummy chaat we can sometimes escape healthy eating. Crispy palak pakoras are topped with curd, tamarind chutney and green chutney and garnished with onion and nylon sev.

Prep Time – 15 Mins               Cook Time – 5 Mins                Serving – 4

Ingredients –

  1. Spinach (Palak) Leaves – 15
  2. Gram Flour (Besan) – 2 Cups
  3. Salt – 1 Tsp. + 2 Tsp. (or according to taste)
  4. Red chilli powder – 3 Tsp. + 2 Tsp.
  5. Turmeric Powder – ¼ Tsp.
  6. Water – 1 ½ Cups
  7. Oil for Deep Frying
  8. Boiled and Mashed Potatoes – 2 Cups
  9. Curd
  10. Tamarind Chutney
  11. Green Chutney
  12. Finely Chopped Onions
  13. Nylon Sev

Palak Pakora Chaat (1)

Method –

  1. Wash spinach leaves properly with water.
  2. Take gram flour in a mixing bowl and add in 1 tsp. salt, 3 Tsp. red chilli powder and turmeric.
  3. With the help of water prepare a smooth batter.
  4. Dip each leaf one by one in batter and deep fry it and palak pakora is ready.
  5. Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl and add in 2 Tsp. salt and 2 Tsp. red chilli powder and mix.
  6. Now take a serving plate and place 2-3 palak pakora on it.
  7. Spread potato mixture on pakoras.
  8. Add curd, tamarind chutney and green chutney on potato mixture.
  9. Garnish Chaat with finely chopped onions and nylon sev and serve.


Notes –

  1. If you don’t eat potatoes, you can replace with boiled and mashed raw banana.
  2. Add tamarind chutney and green chutney as per your taste.
  3. You can also add boiled bengal gram and green gram.

Anardana Aloo | Potato Recipe – Recipe No. 64

Bored of eating same potato recipes, today I am sharing with you all new recipe of potato i.e. Anardana Aloo. It is delicious and lip smacking potato recipe. It is very easy and quick recipe and everyone who has tasted it liked it a lot.

Anardana is a dry pomegranate seed which is easily available in market or if you don’t get it in market you can make it at home also. Anardana Aloo recipe requires preparation of anardana masala. It is very easy to prepare.  It can be made in bulk and can be stored in air tight container for long period.

Because of the tanginess of anardana, recipe will be little tangy. It will be spicy also because of different spices used in this recipe.

Step – by – Step video of Anardana Aloo

Prep Time – 20 Mins            Cook Time – 15 Mins             Serving – 4

Ingredients – 

  1. Par Boiled Potatoes – 10 Nos.
  2. Green Chillies – 3
  3. Garlic Cloves – 10-12
  4. Oil – 5 Tbsp.
  5. Asafoetida – Pinch
  6. Mustard Seeds – ½ Tsp.
  7. Cumin Seeds – ½ Tsp.
  8. Fennel Seeds – ½ Tsp.
  9. Anardana Masala – 5 Tbsp.
  10. Salt to Taste
  11. Garam Masala – 1 Tbsp.
  12. Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp.
  13. Water – 3 Tbsp.

Anardana Masala (will make 1 cup) –

  1. Anardana (Dry Pomegranate Seeds) – 1 Cup
  2. Coriander Seeds – ¼ Cup
  3. Whole Dry Red Chilli – 10
  4. Cinnamon (Dalchini) – 2 Small Pieces


Method – 

  1. Dry roast anardana, coriander seeds, whole dry red chilli and dalchini on low flame for 15-20 mins.
  2. Allow them to cool down completely and grind them to a fine powder.
  3. Prepare a paste of onion, green chilli and garlic cloves.
  4. Cut boiled potatoes into small cubes and deep fry them.
  5. Heat oil in a wok and add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
  6. On crackling of seeds, add onion + green chilli + garlic paste and cook it for 5 mins.
  7. Add prepared anardana masala and mix.
  8. Add salt, turmeric powder and garam masala and mix
  9. Add water and cook masala for 5 mins.
  10. Add fried pieces of potatoes and mix and cook for few more mins.
  11. Garnish Anardana Aloo with onion and green chilli and serve

Tomato Soup | Winter Special | Soup Recipes – Recipe No. 63

Tomato Soup is very popular in all Indian restaurants as well as in every Indian household. It is best to serve it hot with starters.  It is very easy, healthy and delicious soup prepared using ripe tomatoes and spices. I have also added onion, garlic and green chillies also. Sugar is added to adjust the tanginess of tomatoes. My mother use to make it more healthy by adding bottle gourd and spinach in it.

Step – by – Step Video of Tomato Soup

Prep Time – 20-25 Mins             Cook Time – 15-20 Mins            Serving – 5

Ingredients – 

  1. Tomatoes – 750 Gms
  2. Onions – 2 Nos.
  3. Garlic – 8 Cloves
  4. Green Chillies – 2 Nos.
  5. Ghee – 1 Tbsp.
  6. Salt to Taste
  7. Sugar – 2 Tbsp.
  8. Black Pepper Powder – 1 Tbsp.
  9. Water – 2 Cups
  10. Bread Croutons
  11. Fresh Cream – For Garnishing

Tomato Soup

Method –

  1. Boil tomatoes, onions, green chillies and garlic in a pressure cooker till one whistle.
  2. Allow boiled vegetables to cool down completely before grinding.
  3. Grind boiled vegetables to fine consistency
  4. Strain grounded mixture
  5. Heat ghee in a pan and pour in grounded mixture and water.
  6. Add black pepper powder and salt.
  7. Allow soup to boil.
  8. After one boil, add in sugar and mix.
  9. Garnish Tomato Soup with bread croutons and fresh cream.

Kaddu (Pumpkin) ki Subzi & Makke ki Roti | Traditional Recipe | Winter Special – Recipe No. 62

As winters has come it’s time to treat ourselves with yummy Makke ki Roti. Makke ki Roti is very popular in Punjab and Rajasthan. Makke ki roti is maize flour flatbread cooked until golden brown. Mainly it is served with Sarson ka Saag. But at my home we serve it with Palak ki Subzi, Tadka Dal, Kaddu ki Sabzi or Mogri ki Kadi. It is very delicious and easy recipe. Today I will be serving it with Kaddu ki Sabzi and Jaggery. Jaggery is also an important ingredient to be served with Makke ki Roti.

Kaddu ki Sabzi is a very simple recipe where pumpkin pieces are cooked in variety of masalas. I have made it little sweet by adding sugar. You can avoid it if you don’t want to make it sweet.

Prep Time – 10 Mins                Cook Time – 30 Mins              Serving – 4

Ingredients –

Kaddu ki Sabzi

  1. Kaddu (Pumpkin) (Cut in small Cubes) – 4 Cups
  2. Finely Chopped Green Chillies – 1 Tbsp.
  3. Asafoetida – Pinch
  4. Oil – 5 Tbsp.
  5. Mustard Seeds – ½ Tsp.
  6. Cumin Seeds – ½ Tsp.
  7. Fennel Seeds – ½ Tsp.
  8. Red Chilli Powder – 2 Tbsp.
  9. Coriander Powder – 1 Tbsp.
  10. Turmeric Powder – 1 Tsp.
  11. Salt to Taste
  12. Sugar – 5 Tbsp.
  13. Water – 4 Cups

Makke Ki Roti

  1. Makke ka Atta (Maize Flour) – 3 Cups
  2. Salt – 2 Tsp.
  3. Carom Seeds  – 1 Tsp.
  4. Ghee (Clarified Butter) – 1 Tbsp.
  5. Hot Water – 2 Cups


  1. Jaggery

Kaddu ki Subzi & Makke ki Roti

Method – 

Kaddu Ki Subzi –

  1. Heat oil in a wok and add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
  2. On crackling of seeds, add green chillies and sauté it for min.
  3. Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and ½ cup of water and cook all spices.
  4. Now add kaddu cubes and mix.
  5. Add 4 cups of water and mix and cover wok with lid and allow kaddu to cook.
  6. After 10 mins. remove lid and just check whether kaddu is soft and if not then cover wok again and allow it to cook for few more mins.
  7. After kaddu gets soft, add in sugar and mix.
  8. Cook Subzi till one boil and switch off the flame.


Makke ki Roti

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add in Makke ka atta, salt, ajwain and ghee.
  2. With the help of hot water knead dough.
  3. Now divide dough into 4 – 5 balls and take one ball at a time and place it on plastic sheet.
  4. Wet your palms and with the help of wet palms, flatten the ball into a flat roti.
  5. Heat tawa and place roti on it. When one side gets cooked, flip it and cook another side.
  6. Now remove tawa and cook both sides of roti directly on low flame.
  7. Now with help of spoon make holes on cooked roti and apply generous amount of ghee on it.
  8. Serve Makke ki roti with Kaddu ki Subzi and Jaggery.


Tips –

  1. Spices and sweetness can be adjusted according to your taste.
  2. My recipe is totally without onion and garlic. If you want you can add them with green chillies.
