STRAWBERRY PUNCH

This Strawberry Punch is so easy to make and so delicious in taste. It can serve as a best party mocktail drink. It can be prepared with fresh strawberries as well as frozen strawberries also. In case of pineapple juice if it’s possible then use fresh juice only. It will give nice refreshing effect to drink.
Serving – 2
Ingredients –

  1. Strawberries – 6
  2. Pineapple Juice – 1 Cup
  3. Cream – 1 Cup
  4. Sugar to Taste

Instruction –

  1. Cut strawberries into pieces and add them to grinder
  2. Add in cream, pineapple juice and sugar and blend them.
  3. Serve chilled.

FIZZY FROTHY ORANGE

Fizzy Frothy Orange is a sweet and frothy blend of ice cream and soda. It is so easy to make which requires only 2 ingredients.
Serving – 4
Ingredients –

  1. Vanilla Ice Cream – 3 Scoops
  2. Orange Flavoured Soda – 2 Cups

Instruction –

  1. Take a bowl and add in ice cream and orange flavoured soda.
  2. Blend it with the help of hand blender.
  3. Serve chilled.

Kanji Vada | Holi Special | Recipe No. 87

Kanji Vada is a popular recipe from Rajasthan (India). Kanji Vada consist of Vada made from moong dal (split green gram) which is immersed in tangy mustard water (known as Kanji). Kanji is very helpful in digestion. It is often prepared on Festival of Colors i.e. Holi.

Kanji is prepared in advance so that its flavor gets incorporated in water. Just before serving dip prepared vadas into it or you can serve kanji with boondi also sprinkled on top.

Ingredients –

For Vada –

  1. Green Gram, Split (Moong Dal) – 1 Cup
  2. Salt to Taste
  3. Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp.
  4. Green Chilli – 1
  5. Cumin Powder – 1 Tsp.
  6. Asafoetida – Pinch
  7. Oil for Deep Frying

For Kanji –

  1. Black Mustard Powder – 4 Tbsp.
  2. Asafoetida – ½ Tsp.
  3. Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tbsp.
  4. Salt to Taste
  5. Water – 8-10 Cups

Instructions –

For Kanji –

  1. Mix mustard powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Take water in an air tight container and add all spices in it and mix.
  3. Now keep the container at warm place for 3 days.

For Vade –

  1. Soak split green gram for 3 hours.
  2. Grind soaked gram with one green chilli. Just add 2 tbsp. of water.
  3. Transfer grounded mixture to a bowl and add in salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder and asafoetida and mix them.
  4. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  5. Drop small balls of the mixture into oil and deep fry them in small batches.
  6. Fry them till they are crisp from all sides. Vade is ready
  7. Now drop these vade in hot water so that they get soft.

Final Presentation

  1. After 3 days open kanji container and empty it in a bowl and give it a quick stir.
  2. Pour kanji in individual glasses and drop in it soaked vade.
  3. Kanji Vade is ready to be served.

Instant Kalakand | Holi Special | Recipe No. 86

Kalakand is a very popular Indian Sweet. It is prepared on different festivals like Diwali and Holi. As festival of colors is coming so decided to share its recipe with you all.

It is prepared from sweetened milk and paneer. The traditional way of making this sweet takes long time so there is a quick way to make this sweet.

The quick Kalakand recipe requires cooking of crumbled paneer with condensed milk and for flavoring we can add cardamom powder. It gives a crumbly and grainy texture to dish. It can be prepared in a couple of hours.

Ingredients –

  1. Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – 500 Gms
  2. Milk Powder – 3 Tbsp.
  3. Condensed Milk – 1 ½ Cups
  4. Powdered Elaichi – 1 Tsp.
  5. Almond Flakes – For Garnishing
  6. Ghee (Clarified Butter) – For Greasing

Method –

  1. Crumble or grate paneer.
  2. Add crumbled paneer, milk powder and condensed milk in a heavy bottom pan.
  3. Add elaichi powder.
  4. Mix all ingredients and bring pan on heat on medium flame and allow it to cook while stirring continuously.
  5. When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, switch of the flame.
  6. Grease plate with ghee and drop paneer mixture on it.
  7. Set the mixture on the greased plate and sprinkle almond flakes on it and allow it to cool for 2-3 hours.
  8. Cut Kalakand into pieces and serve.

  1. Boondi – 2 Cups
  2. Finely Chopped Onion – ½ Cup
  3. Finely Chopped Tomatoes – ½ Cup

  5. Red Chilli Powder – 1 ½ Tbsp.
  6. Chaat Masala Powder – ½ Tsp.
  7. Lemon Juice – 1 Tbsp.
  8. Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2 Tbsp.

Instructions

  1. Take boondi in a mixing bowl and add in finely chopped onion and tomatoes.
  2. Add in red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala and lemon juice.
  3. At last add finely chopped coriander.
  4. Mix all ingredients properly and serve.

Notes –

  1. In vegetables you can also take cucumber, capsicum, cabbage or any other vegetable of your own choice.
  2. You can use raw mango also. It will give nice tangy taste to recipe

Happy Valentine Day to all my friends. Celebrate this special day with your special someone with the chocolate cake whose recipe I am sharing today. It is very simple recipe which is eggless and does not require baking. I have prepared it using biscuits and creamy chocolate mousse and topped it with grated dark chocolate and some strawberries.

Ingredients –

  1. Marigold Biscuits – 250 Grams Packet
  2. Condensed Milk – 1 Cup
  3. Whipped Cream
  4. Dark Chocolate
  5. Milk – 2 Cups
  6. Grated Chocolate – For Decorating
  7. Strawberry – For Decorating

Instructions

  1. Take broken biscuit pieces in a grinder and grind them to a fine powder.
  2. Now take biscuit powder in a mixing bowl and add condensed milk.
  3. Add milk gradually and mix and prepare a smooth paste.
  4. Now melt dark chocolate in a microwave or through double boiler method.
  5. Take whipped cream in another mixing bowl and add in melted chocolate and mix.
  6. Take a cake mould and spread biscuit layer at bottom of it and keep it in freezer for 10 mins.
  7. Now spread cream layer on it and keep it in freezer for 10 mins.
  8. Spread biscuit layer again on top of cream layer and keep it in freezer for 10 mins.
  9. Spread cream layer again and it would be last layer.
  10. Sprinkle generous amount of grated chocolate on top
  11. Keep it in a freezer for atleast 2-3 hours.
  12. After that take out cake from freezer and demould it and garnish it with strawberry pieces and serve.

My today’s recipe is Cheesy Macroni. It is very easy and quick recipe. Its preparation requires lot of cheese. This recipe is liked by everyone especially kids and people who like cheese a lot. There are many ways to make it. Some people use 2-3 types of cheese to make this. Some people bake it. I have prepared it in a pan on gas stove and have used processed cheese.

Serving – Will serve 2 – 3 people

Ingredients –
1. Boiled Macroni – 5 Cups
2. Butter – 2 Tbsp.
3. All-Purpose Flour – 2 Tbsp.
4. Hot Milk – 2 Cups
5. Grated Cheese – 1 Cup
6. Salt to Taste
7. Black Pepper Powder to Taste
8. Oregano for Garnishing.

Instructions
1. Heat butter in a pan. Add all-purpose flour.
2. Roast all-purpose flour in butter on low flame till it gets light in color.
3. Add in hot milk and stir it continuously so that no lumps are formed.
4. Add in grated cheese and mix.
5. Add in black pepper powder and salt and mix properly.
6. Add in boiled macroni and mix it such that it gets properly covered by sauce.
7. Garnish Cheesy Macroni with some oregano and serve.

Notes –
1. Quantity of butter and all-purpose flour should be same.
2. Milk should be hot otherwise lumps will be formed.
3. If sauce gets thicken you can add more quantity of hot milk.
4. I have not added any vegetable to it as I don’t like vegetables in this recipe. If you want you can add Red and Yellow Bell Pepper and Broccoli to it.
5. I have added processed cheese. You can add cheese of your choice.

There are many varieties of parantha which you will get in India like aloo parantha, lauki parantha, paneer parantha, onion parantha etc. Paranthas are very easy and quick recipe which you can make for breakfast or lunch or dinner. You can have these parantha with plain curd or any type of raita or green chutney or tomato ketchup.

Today’s recipe i.e. onion parantha is a whole wheat flat bread stuffed with onion mixture. It is a very basic recipe which you can prepare easily with the ingredients easily available at home.

Serving – 10 Paranthas

Ingredients –

  1. Wheat Flour – 2 Cups
  2. Ghee (Clarified Butter) – 1 ½ Tbsp. + For Cooking Parantha
  3. Salt – 1 ½ Tsp.
  4. Water for Kneading Soft Dough
  5. Finely Chopped Onions – 3 Cups
  6. Finely Chopped Green Chilli – 1 Tbsp.
  7. Gram Flour (Besan) – ½ Cup
  8. Red Chilli Powder – 2 ½ Tbsp.
  9. Salt to Taste
  10. Turmeric Powder – ¼ Tsp.
  11. Garam Masala – 1 Tsp.

Instruction – 

  1. Take wheat flour in a bowl and add in salt and ghee.
  2. Knead soft dough with the help of water and cover it and keep aside.
  3. Take finely chopped onions in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add in finely chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and garam masala.
  5. Mix all ingredients properly.
  6. Add in gram flour and mix properly as such onions are nicely coated with gram flour.
  7. Divide dough into small balls.
  8. Take one ball at a time and dust flour on the dough ball.
  9. Roll the dough with the help of a rolling pin to a circle of 3-4 diameters.
  10. Place 2 tbsp. of onion stuffing in center of circle and cover it with the dough and press it gently and roll it again to give shape of parantha.                            
  11. Heat flat pan and put Parantha on it and cook from one side and flip it and cook another side with the help of ghee till it changes color to golden brown.
  12. Onion Parantha is ready. Serve it with curd or green chutney or tomato ketchup.

Notes –

  1. Cut onions finely else it will be difficult to roll the paranthas.
  2. After preparing onion mixture make paranthas immediately otherwise onions will leave their moisture and it will be difficult to roll parantha.
